Please note that all the above sizes are in millimetres (mm), imperial sizes are rounded up to the nearest inch and the rebate is the depth within the surround. This fireplace is made from small real stone pieces finely crushed and bonded together with resin called micro stone and is only suitable for gas or electric fires and cannot be used with a real solid fuel fire. As stated in Bemodern's Brochure ALL White stone effect Surrounds will come with a matching back panel and hearth, while Smoothstone finishes will require a separate back panel and hearth in micro marble or granite.Bemodern Stone effect finished mantels / surrounds are only suitable for use with gas fires, (with the exception of catalytic fluless gas fires) or electric fires and cannot be used with a real solid fuel fire.
