Also be aware that if this Studio fire is installed with one of the Studio frames Bauhaus, Profil or Steel, then a 5mm space must be left around the front edge of the appliance. No additional fluing is needed when this fire is installed into an existing builders opening below a masonry chimney and sealed to the fireplace opening (assuming that the chimney is of sound construction). Alternatively this fire can be connected directly to a 5" inch liner within a brick chimney or a 5" inch twin wall gas vent system, which will also require the construction of a false chimney breast where applicable, in the room, to house the depth of the fire. The top flue outlet size for all Glass fronted conventional flue Studio fires is 127mm in diameter. The Gazco remote control included with this fire allows the flame height to vary between high and low from your armchair and has a fully automatic lighting sequence so there is no need to have a standing pilot as the fire will light directly from the handset. This unique remote also has a thermostatic option which enables you to programme the fire to heat the room to the temperature you select. In the event that you mislay the remote or the batteries run out don't worry, as there's even an electronic touch pad to access a manual control facility. Also be aware that due to the fire producing heat the interior of the fire may become marked over time through general wear and tear which is quite normal and to be expected. NOTE **** Under no circumstances should a Plasma / LCD flat screen TV be mounted above this fire. Due to the number of size measurements on this fire it is strongly reccomended that you have the appliance on site / in your possession to take accurate measurements from before proceeding to create any aperature in the wall to avoid potential mistakes being made.
