NOTE: Please ensure to have a survey carried out by a Gas Safe Register registered gas installer to check and certify the compatibility of your room and intended location with this fire before making any purchase to avoid disappointment. When installing this product you will also need to to construct a false chimney breast to accept the depth of the fire and line it with non combustable material. The standard balanced flue kit supplied with the fire comes off the top of the fire and raises up 390mm minimum before venting horizontally at 90 degrees through the external wall. There is also an optional extra warm air ducting kit available shown on the diagram above (Code 8572) prices on request if required, please consult both your Gas Safe Register engineer and Gazco's technical department for further details. A terminal guard would also be required if the fire is installed below 2metres externally (NOT INCLUDED WITH THE FIRE / OPTIONAL EXTRA PRICE ON REQUEST) and if installed below 150mm internally it is recommended that a 12mm thick non combustible is provided extending 300mm in front and 150mm each side of the fire. Gazco thermostatic remote control option allows the flame height to vary between high and low from your armchair once the pilot has been ignited manually and also have the added benefit of being able to program the fire to switch itself on and off twice a day and to heat the room to the temperature you select. Also be aware that due to the fire producing heat the interior of the fire may become marked over time through general wear and tear which is quite normal and to be expected. The inside of the glass may also require cleaning from time to time due to condensation that may form on the inside of the glass. NOTE A marble slip with a minimum width of 150mm is reccomended around all installations and no combustible material including wallpaper should be less than 150mm from this appliance.
